Classroom Expectations
1.  Be on time with all materials

Absences & Tardy
Attendance will be taken daily by the teacher and office.
Excused absences require proper documentation and acceptance
the high school office

Three or more unexcused absences and/or tardies will result
in
detention, homework penalties, and possibly no credit for this course.
(Please refer to the pages of your ACS Student Handbook regarding
attendance)

Excused Absences
Students who are officially excused by the office for absence may turn
in the assignment or complete the missed assignment the next time
class is scheduled to meet.  You are responsible for checking our class
website for any missed work, handouts, notes etc. www.mrsgreer.net
or on MOODLE.  Please turn in all absent work directly to the teacher. If
you have questions regarding an assignment, please email the teacher:
tgreer@acsamman.edu.jo

ISAC ACTIVITIES: If you miss an assignment that was assigned while
away on an ISAC event, you shall have one week from the day you are
supposed to return to school to make up the missed assignment(s).
Assignments given PRIOR to travel are due on previously assigned due
dates or teacher arranged due dates.
(Please refer to page ACS Student Handbook for make-up work)

2.  Participate with the intention of learning

Be Respectful
        This is measured informally and formally per unit and on your
report card each quarter

Positively Contribute to our Class Community
        this means that your ideas, contributions, and actions add to
and enhance the learning in the classroom

Assignments
•        Assignments are due on the date assigned. If you miss deadlines,
you are not prepared for class. If you miss deadlines, you miss out on
feedback and the ability to learn from our time in class.

•        Turn all late work in directly to the teacher. Late work will be
accepted, however, it is not the equivalent to work turned in on time.

•        Work that is not turned in will receive an incomplete or failing
mark—since you have
failed to demonstrate your knowledge of a
standard(s). Failure to turn in a major
assignment is considered a
discipline issue and will be treated as such. All honest attempts will be
rewarded. Always try.

3.  Follow all directions with academic honesty/integrity

Academic Honesty
•        All students are expected to follow the ACS Student Code of
Ethics. All written work will be submitted to turnitin.com for plagiarism
prevention. Please refer to your ACS Student
Handbook for guidelines
and/or consequences.

Acceptable Use Policy

•        All students are required to read and follow the school’s
technology policy.

Consequences:
1. Warning
